Davao City – The Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) have assured incoming President Rodrigo R. Duterte of their support for his plan to shift to federal form of government as well as his campaign against illegal drugs and kidnap-for-ransom activities. MNLF Chairman Abul Khayr Alonto disclosed this yesterday following a meeting with Duterte and MILF leaders – Chairman Murad Ebrahim and Vice Chairman Ghadzali Jaafar – Friday night at Hotel Elena here. “The MILF and MNLF are united with the President-elect,” said Alonto, who heads one of the factions of the MNLF, the other being under the leadership of founding chairman Nur Misuari.
