SALISBURY, N.C. — Charleston sports journalist Gary Smith, a longtime Sports Illustrated long-form feature writer, was inducted into the National Sports Media Association Hall of Fame on Monday night at the NSMA annual awards ceremony in Salisbury, N.C.
