Global reclaimed the solo lead without breaking a sweat after it was awarded a victory over Pasargad via walkover last Wednesday in the United Football League at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. Only seven players from Pasargad reportedly showed up for the scheduled match, prompting league officials to award Global a 3-0 win.
