Bounty for illegal recruiters, incoming Labor secretary says

Illegal recruiters have joined drug traffickers on top of the priority list in the campaign to eliminate criminality that will be pursued by the incoming administration of President Rodrigo Duterte. There will also be a bounty on the heads of the illegal recruiters, incoming Labor and Employment Secretary Silvestre Bello III said in a radio interview yesterday. Bello said this will motivate citizens to report their illegal activities to authorities. “One of the first things I will do once I assume my post is to announce that we will be handing rewards to organizations or individuals who will be able to give us information on illegal recruiters,” Bello said. “This (illegal recruitment) has to stop and its perpetrators jailed,” he added.
