Traffic congestion along Interstate 526 near the exit to Wando Welch Terminal continued on Monday, but nowhere near the level that shut down traffic for miles last week as the State Ports Authority implemented a new automated gate system for truckers visiting the Mount Pleasant cargo terminal.
