By Charissa M. Luci and PNA It will be a simple State of the Nation Address (SONA) affair for President Dutere at a joint session of Congress at the Batasan Complex in Quezon City on Monday. Some 3,000 guests, including Vice President Leni Robredo, and former presidents and vice presidents, are expected at the Batasan session hall when President Duterte delivers his first SONA. Among those expected to attend are former Presidents Fidel Ramos, Joseph Estrada, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, former Vice Presidents Teofisto Guingona Jr., Noli de Castro, and Jejomar Binay, members of the Cabinet, the judiciary, and diplomatic corps, other government officials, members of Presidient Duterte’s family, and friends. Former President Aquino said he is not attending the SONA. The red carpet for the occasion is already in place in the South and North Wing of the Batasan Complex.
