The Commission on Audit (COA) has demanded the liquidation of P2.5 billion that the Aquino administration distributed to nine government agencies tasked to implement activities when the country hosted in 2015 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conferences. Reporting on the annual audit examination conducted last year on the Office of the President (OP), COA said liquidation of the expenses incurred by government is important in ensuring proper documentation and accounting of government funds.
