Mount Pleasant eyes cruise ship passengers as an economic boost to town

MOUNT PLEASANT — Councilman Gary Santos wants the town to encourage cruise ships to send passengers to the town — not instead of going to Charleston, but in addition to the 104 cruise ships that can dock on the Charleston peninsula yearly.
