Ties that bind: Fly tying connects angler to an ancient fishing tradition

There is a quiet art taking place in the dens, dorm rooms and kitchen tables across the Lowcountry. Under piles of trimmed hairs, feathers and thread are fly tiers, grinning and spinning away each fly they will use to catch fish.
