Hezekiah Bing, an eighth grader at Morningside Middle School, spends most weekends during the school year at Waterfront Park. While other kids his age might be at home relaxing or playing with friends, Bing works for hours at a city-designated table, twisting palmetto fronds into roses and selling them to tourists for $2 each.
