Border Guard in Jeddah, Rabigh Governorates Foils Attempt to Smuggle 245.7 kg of Heroin

Riyadh, April 9, 2021, SPA -- Official Spokesman of the Border Guard Col. Misfer bin Ghannam Al-Quraini said that the land and maritime patrols in Jeddah and Rabigh Governorates, in Makkah Region, have managed to foil an attempt to smuggle 245.7 kilograms of the Heroin, including 24.5 kilograms in Rabigh, and 211.2 kilograms in Jeddah. He said that the regulatory procedures have been completed and the smuggled materials have been handed over to the concerned authority, affirming that the Border Guard men continue to firmly and resolutely confront all smuggling attempts. --SPA
