The Berlin Wall: A Lesson in Geopolitics

Fifty years ago, on August 13, 1961, the Berlin Wall was built on orders by Soviet leader, Nikita Khrushchev, and East German leader, Walter Ulbricht. Oddly enough, the governments of the United States, Britain and France, which then had the exclusive sovereignty over West-Berlin
