Ren Qian leads Chinese 1-2 in women's 10m platform

Fifteen-year-old Ren Qian led a 1-2 for China in the women's 10m platform diving final in Rio on Thursday.

Ren took gold ahead of teammate Si Yajie, 17, to give China six wins out of seven events in the Olympic diving competition.

Ren scored 439.25 points after five dives to finish 19.85 points ahead of Si (419.40).

Canada's Meaghan Benfeito, 27, took bronze with 389.20 in the Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre
