Tokayev sent a telegram to Turkmenistan’s president
Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, according to the Akorda press service.
In the congratulatory telegram, Tokayev praised Turkmenistan’s successful neutrality policy, which has earned international respect and recognition.
"Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are united by strong historical ties of centuries-old friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual support. We highly value the dynamic development and deepening of strategic partnership between our brotherly countries," the message stated.
The Kazakh leader also wished President Berdimuhamedov success in his responsibilities and expressed hopes for continued prosperity and well-being for the people of Turkmenistan.
Earlier, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan signed 20 key agreements, including the Declaration on Strengthening Friendship and Deepening Multidimensional Strategic Partnership, during President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's official visit to Ashgabat.
