President Tokayev to speak at Abu Dhabi summit

Tengrinews.kz - The Head of State took part in the opening ceremony of the "Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week," according to Akorda.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the grand opening of the "Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week" and the Zayed Sustainability Prize award ceremony.

The event was also attended by the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Rwanda Paul Kagame, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Lacson, Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo, as well as politicians, leaders in the fields of renewable energy, technological development and innovation, investors and entrepreneurs.

The summit is expected to feature a speech by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

"Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week" (ADSW) is one of the leading global platforms dedicated to sustainable development and the fight against climate change. The event is aimed at stimulating investment in green technologies and renewable energy sources, finding innovative solutions to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This year, the forum is dedicated to the theme "The Nexus of Next. Supercharging Sustainable Progress."

Earlier, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Abu Dhabi. He held a meeting with the President of the UAE.
