President Tokayev accepted Putin’s invitation
Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has accepted an invitation from the Russian president to attend events marking the 80th anniversary of Victory Day, according to the Akorda press service.
Tokayev held a meeting at Akorda with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
"The Head of State announced that he has accepted the invitation of the Russian president to attend the events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory Day," the statement said.
According to the press service, Mishustin briefed Tokayev on the results of negotiations between the government delegations of Kazakhstan and Russia, noting that the agreements reached across the entire bilateral agenda would strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.
Additionally, the parties discussed prospects for developing the Kazakh-Russian strategic partnership, focusing on trade, economic, and investment cooperation, including within the Eurasian Economic Union.
