Funny video featuring snow leopard was filmed in Kazakhstan
The video was posted on the official Instagram page of the organization and quickly drew attention due to the leopard’s unusual behavior.
"A very curious guest appeared in the Arshat Forestry of the Katon-Karagay National Park – a snow leopard! But instead of simply passing by the camera trap, it decided to... interfere with the filming process. In the footage, you can see the leopard carefully examining the camera and then pawing at it, as if trying to knock it over. Perhaps it didn’t like the angle? Or maybe it decided that the footage featuring it should be flawless? In any case, the equipment held up, and we got unique shots of this graceful predator up close," says the national park’s statement.

As is known, a camera trap is an automatic device designed for covert photo and video recording, triggered by movement within the sensor's range. It is primarily used for wildlife observation, territory protection, and scientific research. Typically, the camera operates both during the day and at night.
Earlier, a video featuring rare animals filmed in the Kolsai Lakes National Park appeared online. The footage captured species listed in the Red Book of Kazakhstan: the snow leopard and the Turkestan lynx. More details can be found via the link.
