When Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr will begin

Excessive consumption. Avoid excessive consumption of food and the pursuit of material goods. Follow the principles of self-control and restraint.

These prohibitions are aimed at strengthening spiritual experience and self-control during the month of Ramadan.
Those who do not fast are advised not to eat or smoke during the daytime.
What needs to be done before Ramadan
Intention - you need to set your heart to doing good deeds. A list of things you would like to do during the month of Ramadan. Include both mandatory and voluntary additional things here, then it will be easier and simpler to complete what you have planned.
Before Ramadan, you should make up for the fasts that remained from last year, if any.
You should also prepare for Ramadan physically, give up fried and spicy foods, coffee and carbonated drinks, as they lead to a deterioration in the body.
To get the maximum benefit and sawap (God's mercy) in the month of Ramadan, one should stock up on knowledge to follow the rules of Ramadan and to know the blessings of Ramadan.
After the end of the fast, Muslims gather to celebrate Oraza Ait (Eid al-Fitr), which in 2025 falls on March 30.
When is Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) in Kazakhstan
Eid al-Adha, another important religious event, will be held from June 6 to 8 in 2025. This holiday is associated with sacrifice in memory of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his willingness to sacrifice his son in fulfillment of the will of Allah. During Eid al-Adha, Muslims traditionally sacrifice an animal, sharing the meat among family, friends, and the needy.
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan emphasized that the dates of Islamic holidays may change depending on the actual occurrence of the new moon.

"The beginning of the Hijri months was established based on data from international astronomical research centers. Fatwa experts warn that the exact dates of religious holidays may be postponed by one day or moved forward depending on the appearance of the new moon," the department noted.
