New prices for diesel fuel announced by Minister of Energy
Tengrinews.kz - Minister of Energy Almassadam Satkaliyev announced the prices for diesel fuel for agricultural producers in the upcoming season.
Speaking at a government meeting on preparations for spring field work, Satkaliyev said that previously for two years the price was maintained at 228 tenge per liter with delivery to the regions. The final price per liter was 250 tenge with VAT, and the margin of diesel fuel supply operators was 22 tenge per liter.
"On January 30, 2025, state regulation of prices for AI-92 and diesel fuel was canceled. The current price of diesel fuel recommended by the Ministry of Energy is 232 tenge per liter to the destination station in the regions. The final price is set by regional operators and can be 254 tenge per liter, which is 45 tenge per liter cheaper, or 15 percent lower than retail prices at petrol stations," Satkaliyev said.
The minister noted that as the price at the gas stations rises, it "will rise proportionally." At the same time, the 15% discount on the price of the gas stations will remain unchanged.
On January 30, the Ministries of Energy and Agriculture approved a schedule for the delivery of 401 thousand tons of diesel fuel for spring field work in the period from February 1 to June 30, 2025.
Earlier, state gasoline price regulation was abolished in Kazakhstan.
