Foreign investors purchase Kazakhstani securities worth 1.1 trillion tenge
Tengrinews.kz – Foreign investors have acquired Kazakhstani securities worth 1.1 trillion tenge, reflecting a significant rise in market interest, citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
Speaking at the International Conference KASE: Joining Tabadul Digital Hub, National Bank Chairman Timur Suleimenov announced that foreign investments in Kazakh government bonds have more than doubled over the past year, reaching 1.1 trillion tenge.
"In April 2022, Kazakhstan's government bonds were officially included in the FTSE Frontier Emerging Markets Government Bond Index, strengthening the country’s position in global financial markets," Suleimenov stated.
