Tokayev received the new Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan
During the meeting, issues of comprehensive deepening of the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan were discussed.
Congratulating Adylbek Kasymaliyev on his appointment as the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that his first official visit to Astana is especially important for further strengthening the ties of friendship and alliance between the two fraternal peoples.
"I would like to especially note the dynamic nature of the development of Kazakh-Kyrgyz cooperation. The official visit of the esteemed Sadyr Nurgozhoevich Japarov to Kazakhstan last year gave a new impetus to our bilateral relations. Taking this opportunity, I would like to convey my warm wishes to the esteemed Sadyr Nurgozhoevich," President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
According to the President, one of the main tasks of the governments is to monitor the full implementation of all agreements reached at the highest level. In particular, it is necessary to find new opportunities to expand trade turnover, facilitate the early launch of an industrial trade and logistics complex on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border, and create favorable conditions for transit and transport communications.
Adylbek Kasymaliyev expressed gratitude for the hospitality shown to the Kyrgyz delegation on Kazakh soil and conveyed best wishes from the head of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.
"Our president invariably attaches great importance to deepening friendly, good-neighborly relations with fraternal Kazakhstan. Thanks to the agreements reached during the high-level meetings, cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the political, trade and economic, water and energy, cultural and humanitarian, and other areas is strengthening," the head of the Kyrgyz government said.
He assured that all tasks set by the heads of state are being worked out in detail with their Kazakh colleagues.
