Belarusian Prime Minister departs for Kazakhstan
Tengrinews.kz – A government delegation led by Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin has departed for Kazakhstan on an official visit.
According to the official Telegram channel of the Belarusian government, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
“Issues of deepening bilateral cooperation will be discussed at a meeting with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The two-day visit program also includes talks with Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov in both narrow and extended formats. A number of international documents are expected to be signed,” the government press service reported.
On November 4, Prime Minister Turchin is scheduled to visit Kazakhstan’s Digital Government Support Center and the Astana Hub International Technopark of IT Startups in Astana.
Preparations for the visit are already visible in the Kazakh capital — national flags of Kazakhstan and Belarus have been placed along the main avenue Mangilik El, signaling the arrival of a foreign delegation and the holding of high-level events.

Earlier, on October 29, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a phone conversation with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The two leaders discussed the state and prospects of Kazakh-Belarusian relations, emphasizing the high level of political dialogue and the steady progress of cooperation in trade, economics, and humanitarian fields.
In June 2025, President Tokayev visited Belarus, where he took part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk. During that visit, the heads of the EAEU member states discussed prospects for further economic integration.
