Snowstorms to return to Astana, while Almaty will warm up to +11°C

Weather forecast for Astana:

February 14: Variable cloudiness, no precipitation. Winds from the south at 2-7 meters per second. Temperature: -25 to -27°C at night, -9 to -11°C during the day.

February 15: Variable cloudiness, no precipitation. Winds from the southeast at 2-7 meters per second. Temperature: -24 to -26°C at night, -5 to -7°C during the day.

February 16: Variable cloudiness, snow during the day, low snowstorm, icy roads. Winds from the southeast, turning to the southwest at night at 2-7 meters per second, increasing to 9-14 meters per second, with gusts up to 15-20 meters per second. Temperature: -13 to -15°C at night, 0 to -2°C during the day.

Weather forecast for Almaty:

February 14: Variable cloudiness, rain and snow in the morning and day. Occasional fog and icy roads. Winds from the northeast at 2-7 meters per second. Temperature: -2 to -4°C at night, +2 to +4°C during the day.

February 15: Variable cloudiness, rain and snow at night. Fog in the morning, icy roads. Winds from the southeast at 3-8 meters per second. Temperature: -1 to -3°C at night, +5 to +7°C during the day.

February 16: Variable cloudiness, no precipitation. Fog at night and in the morning. Winds from the southeast at 3-8 meters per second. Temperature: -1 to +1°C at night, +9 to +11°C during the day.

Kazakhstan to be hit by snowstorms

Earlier, meteorologists reported that a cyclone will arrive in Kazakhstan on February 15, bringing rain, snow, snowstorms, and gradual warming across the country. Unstable weather will continue in the south and southeast of the republic, with rain and snow expected. On February 14–15, some areas will experience heavy precipitation.
