Israel’s president congratulated Tokayev on the adoption of the new Constitution

The President of Israel congratulated Tokayev on the successful holding of the nationwide referendum and the adoption of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the conversation, the current state and prospects for deepening cooperation between the two countries were discussed, with an emphasis on further expanding trade, economic, and investment ties.
“Isaac Herzog agreed with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s view that all states need peace in order to implement long-term economic development plans. As the President of Kazakhstan emphasized, there must be a constant search for political solutions to disputed international issues. The President of Israel highly praised Kazakhstan’s decision to join the Abraham Accords,” the Akorda press service noted.
According to the President of Israel, this decision serves as an example of a strategic approach to achieving lasting peace in the Middle East.
It should be noted that on March 17, at the initiative of the French side, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also held a phone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. The French leader congratulated the President of Kazakhstan on the successful holding of the nationwide referendum on the new Constitution, noting its historic significance and calling the event a major step toward the country’s further modernization.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral economic cooperation, especially in the areas of industry and energy, and spoke in favor of continuing joint efforts in this direction.
