Tokayev held a telephone conversation with Putin

Tengrinews.kz — Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing Akorda.
The President of Kazakhstan congratulated the Russian leader on the successful conduct of the elections to the State Duma.

"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the high level of the voting organization and wished the new composition of the Russian parliament productive work for the benefit of the country and its citizens," the Akorda press service stated.

The heads of state exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation and discussed the schedule of upcoming joint events and high-level contacts.
Notably, three days of voting in the State Duma and regional elections have concluded in Russia. According to exit polls, "United Russia" is garnering about 50 percent of the vote, the CPRF — between 14 and 15 percent, and the LDPR — approximately 10 percent. The "New People" and "A Just Russia" parties are also poised to enter the State Duma.
According to Central Election Commission data as of 9:00 PM Moscow time, voter turnout for the State Duma elections reached 56.6 percent. This surpasses the figures recorded in 1993, 2016, and 2021.
