The Seimas Board approved the proposal of Saulus Skvernelis, the Head of the Parliament, to hold a closed session of the Seimas in March to discuss the threat assessment and the need for additional funding for national defence. According to the President of the Seimas, during this meeting, representatives of the armed forces and the Ministry of National Defence (MND) would share restricted information with parliamentarians.
