The real estate market started this year with significantly increased taxable values. At the end of last year, the Centre of Registers recalculated the values of residential and commercial property based on current market conditions, resulting in many properties seeing a 60–90% increase in taxable value. These changes directly affect not only real estate developers, but also businesses renting office space – especially in major cities.
