After NATO allies in Lithuania shot down a drone that entered the country's territory this week, European Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius acknowledged that it was good news. However, they said the country's air threat detection system still has several shortcomings. The politician stressed that Lithuania must prepare not only to shoot down individual drones, but also to identify and counter drone swarms.
