Taye Diggs is warming up his vocal chords for a "pivotal,musical role" on NCIS' 300th episode, CBS announced on Monday. Diggs will play Marine Gunnery Sergeant Aaron Davis, a special operations sniper who was gravely injured and suffers extreme post traumatic stress after an ambush attack in Iraq. "For our 300th episode we needed a guest actor who could proudly portray one of our nation's wounded warriors as well as participate in a very touching musical performance," showrunner Gary Glasberg said in a statement.

CBS is pulling Angel From Hell from its schedule and throwing it onto the cancellation pile, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series premiered in early January to lukewarm reviews after being bumped to midseason from its originally planned fall debut. Though fellow CBS single-camera comedy Life in Pieces has done well this season and earned a full-season order, Angel From Hell continues CBS's typical aversion to the format.

David was very young and a lot of people at the network didn't feel that David was right for the character in Alias, but J.J. fought for him and gave him his break.
