Tamil Nadu govt to constitute panel to review new pension scheme

More than a week after government employees and teachers went on a strike to press for their various demands including withdrawal of the new pension scheme, chief minister J Jayalalithaa on Friday announced in the assembly that the government would constitute a committee to review the pension scheme. She also announced several concessions for the employees hoping that they would end their strike.
