Microsoft on Wednesday announced a refresh to its highest-end Surface Book notebook.

The updated 2-in-1 laptop, dubbed the Surface Book with Performance Base, is available for pre-order starting on Wednesday, and will be available starting November 10.

The new machine starts at $2,399 for a model with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Additional configurations with 512GB and 1TB of storage cost $2,799 and $3,299, respectively. Both of those have 16GB of RAM.
