Man Utd Cancel Training Session As Club Mulls Over Van Gaal’s Sacking

According to Goal.com, United cancelled their routine post-match warm-down session following the defeat as the mood at the club is at its lowest ebb.
The day after every fixture, United players visit the Carrington training ground for a 45-90 minute run and the same was expected on Sunday (24 Janaury) but training was cancelled.

David Gill, former Manchester United chief executive and a present director at the club has warned Louis Van Gaal that the club is underachieving having spent s £250m-plus investment in the squad since his arrival.
According to the Independent, former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has written a six-page letter to the club describing his visions for the club if he Van Gaal is shown the door or sacked at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
Meanwhile, Daily Mail reports executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has held individual meetings with senior players to get their views on Van Gaal with the general consensus being that the 64-year-old manager should be sacked to make way for Ryan Giggs until the end of the season.
