Operator is your own virtual assistant.
OperatorVirtual assistants are going to be big in 2016, and Operator has been one of the most talked about. Launching from Uber co-founder Garret Camp's Expa incubator, the assistant acts as your "operator" to help you book flights, send flowers, or pick out Christmas presents. It has growing competition from Facebook M, but it opened to the public in November, beating M, which is still in limited testing.
Hinge helps you meet your friends' friends.
App AnnieLike Tinder, Hinge matches users with nearby singles, but Hinge takes the matching process one step further by only searching for people with whom the user has at least one Facebook friend in common. It eliminates the randomness that makes some of Tinder's potential users skeptical.
Paribus gets you money back from stores.
