Developing port: Cabinet okays Maharashtra Port Connectivity Corporation

On Monday, the state cabinet approved an ambitious port policy that seeks to promote inland waterways and create a network linking roads, railways and ports - a special purpose vehicle called Maharashtra Port Connectivity Corporation will be set up for port development.
