IPS officer files contempt petition against union home secretary

IPS officer Amitabh Thakur on Monday filed a contempt petition in the the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court against Union Home Secretary, saying he had submitted his appeal to union home secretary on December 18, 2015, but no decision has been taken even after a month, hence he has now filed a contempt petition.
