Barack Obama to ask US Congress for $1.8 billion to tackle Zika crisis
US President Barack Obama will ask the US Congress for more than $1.8 billion in emergency funding to tackle the fast spreading Zika virus both at home and abroad, the White House said, but did not specify a time frame. Zika has been linked to births of children with abnormally small heads and brains.
