In the words of Arinze Esomnofu, Naij.com guest author and on-site reporter, a Manchester United adherent popularly known as Emma Lagos was in a joyous mood after his favourite team had scored the first goal in the Premier League match against Chelsea. He was ordering drinks for his fellows in a local bar, claiming he would win N1.2 million should the game end that way.
However, after Chelsea had equalized in the end of the game, the fans of both teams embarked on a heated argument, which soon developed into a free-for-all advancing from the bar on the open streets.
Reportedly, a Chelsea fan by the name of Chukwudi incurred stab wounds in the fight, and was immediately rushed to the Kenny Medical Center located close to Eco Bank along Kiri-Kiri road. Up to now, no information about his health condition is available.
