Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has undergone successful surgery and he says he says he back and ready for action.
Klopp missed Liverpool’s 2 – 2 draw with Sunderland over the weekend to undergo a surgery to remove his appendix which was ultimately successful.
The coach left hospital in the earlier hours of today and in his first press conference, the German said he was ready to return to action.
According to the Mirror, Klopp has discharged himself from hospital despite being expected to remain under observation and has since returned to his Merseyside home in Formby.

The 48 year old said in his first press conference: “I feel good and I am back in the race. figured if I feel bad I should stay at home, but I feel good.
“If I am not fit then I cannot help here and I would be at home. Everything is okay and we don’t have to talk about this any more.
“I am very thankful for our doc (club medic Andy Massey) because he said we should go to hospital – I was not too sure – and the surgeon was great, a season ticket-holder who told me we both didn’t want to see the game, I had the best nurses and everything was okay.”
The boss will now take charge of his side’s FA Cup replay against West Ham on Tuesday.
