The player has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United  move in recent years,  however he rejected speculation he could quit the Bernabeu.

In his interview for Marca Cristiano Ronaldo said:  “I have been in Spain six years. I was also at Manchester United for six years and that was a great experience, a great championship, but for me this is the best league in the world. It’s a privilege to be here.I want to be here for a couple more years and then we’ll see. That’s the duration of my contract and I want to give my all in that time.”

The Madrid star has also paid tribute to his supporters.

“I dedicate this award to the team, to the coaches, the staff and everyone at Madrid. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to score so many goals last season.Let’s hope the fans keep supporting as they have been. They are spectacular. We will give everything on the pitch to try to win trophies and the Champions League once again,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, according to the rumours making rounds, Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy at his club because the management wants to buy Neymar.

Sport reports that Ronaldo is frustrated with Florentino Perez’s attempt to sign a replacement behind his back, and the 30-year-old believes his time at the club is coming to an end.

“Ronaldo is unhappy with his own dip in form, while the leak of Gareth Bale’s transfer fee, which was over €100 million, annoyed the Portugal international even further.Perez.

“Meanwhile, is unhappy with Ronaldo remaining coy over his long-term future at Madrid, but is publicly backing the forward so that his value does not decrease,” it stated.

However,  Jordi Mestre, the Barcelona’s vice-president, said: “I see absolutely no reason why Neymar would want to leave Barcelona.

“He is proving to be a great player, a world-class attacker. We are very happy with his performances. I don’t know whether Florentino Perez watched his game against Athletic, but it is clear that people who like football like a lot of our players. For me, Neymar seems very happy here.

“He has won titles, has made the Ballon d’Or podium, he looks happy to me and I cannot see why he would want to move,” he explained.
