Taco Bell has a famous history of unorthodox menu items – and the incredulous media buzz surrounding them.
The fast–food chain is known for its innovative and bizarre public relations campaigns, and most recently the chain has played it perfectly coy with its new mystery menu item.
But, at long last, the big reveal has come: Taco Bell has launched the "Quesalupa", essentially a regular Chalupa — itself a taco wrapped in another deep-fried tortilla — with a molten cheesy core.

Hollis JohnsonThe Quesalupa comes in its own handy cardboard holder. It looks like a heavy duty taco at first — pretty stuffed for a Taco Bell item.
