Taye Diggs Lands "Pivotal" Role in NCIS 300th Episode

Taye Diggs is warming up his vocal chords for a "pivotal,musical role" on NCIS' 300th episode, CBS announced on Monday.

Diggs will play Marine Gunnery Sergeant Aaron Davis, a special operations sniper who was gravely injured and suffers extreme post traumatic stress after an ambush attack in Iraq.

"For our 300th episode we needed a guest actor who could proudly portray one of our nation's wounded warriors as well as participate in a very touching musical performance," showrunner Gary Glasberg said in a statement.
