Olivia Palermo launches her collection for Nordstrom as she reveals why Valentino is her go-to designer
As a style icon for a large majority of women, Olivia Palermo has just made emulating her style an awful lot simpler by launching her own collection.
Available at Nordstrom, the ‘Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28’ collection consists of 32 pieces all featuring elements of her iconic, polished aesthetic.
Speaking to Vogue about the collection, Palermo revealed her reason for choosing Nordstrom as her retailer.
"Nordstrom is one of the most respected retailers in the US. Growing up, I enjoyed going in and seeing their well-curated retail store in Palm Beach. They were and still are at the forefront of most other retailers.”
Priced from around £50 to £300, the collection is surprisingly affordable.
Speaking of the price point, Palermo said: "Everyone knows I love high-low dressing. Mixing and matching is a part of fashion and when I started work on the collection with Nordstrom, I thought about how I like to shop.”
“I want to get both the suede vest and the amazing knit instead of choosing one over the other. I wanted prices to be accessible enough that our shopper could buy both and pair them how they want.”
“Fashion has changed so much in the last ten years with how women shop and mixing low and high price points, but when you find something that's good, it's good."
With her collection so focussed on keeping the quality as perfect as possible despite the reasonable price point, Palermo’s answer to the question of her favourite ever dress came as no surprise.
"Pretty much any Valentino look I have worn. The quality and fit is consistently good."
The collection is available to shop on Nordstrom.com now
