HBO Wants More Rock 'n Roll, Renews 'Vinyl' For Season 2

Well, that was fast. After a big, Martin Scorsese-directed, two-hour series premiere on Sunday, HBO has determined they like the song they're hearing from Martin Scorsese, Terence Winter, and Mick Jagger.

The network has renewed "Vinyl" for a second season. The rock 'n roll series has been met with mostly positive reviews (though we weren't particularly enamored with it), and given how much the network has clearly put into the show, including weekly EP releases for each episode, and a clearly lavish budget, I would've been surprised if they didn't go for at least one more season.
