Connecticut's effort to end homelessness among veterans got a Twitter thumbs up Thursday from Julian Castro, U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. His comments came just as Gov. Dannel P. Malloy was wrapping up a press conference in Hartford announcing federal officials have certified that the state has effectively ended homelessness among veterans.
