– Senator Ben Murray-Bruce thinks President Buhari should have more economic advisers than media advisers

– Bruce feels the economy is down because the president has no chief economic adviser

President Muhammadu Buhari made some appointments recently.

Bashir Ahmad was appointed as the president’s personal assistant on New Media, Nasir Adhama as his special assistant on Youths and Students affair and yesterday, Tolu Ogunlesi was appointed as his special assistant on Digital/New Media.

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce representing Bayelsa East senatorial constituency in the National Assembly is not too pleased with this development.

According to him, if Buhari had as many economic advisers as he had media advisers, the country’s economy would be a better.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party has called on the federal government to intervene in the country’s economy. They also advised Buhari to stop travelling all over and concentrate on the economy.

Murray-Bruce has been keeping the Buhari-led administration on its toes and alerting the public on bad policy implementations.

He has been advocating for Nigerians to buy made in Nigeria goods to grow the naira. He decided to show good example by purchasing made in Nigeria cars from Innoson motors.
