JD(U) slams NDA government stand on AMU, Jamia minority status

JD(U) chief Sharad Yadav hit out at the Modi government over its alleged move to withdraw the minority status of Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia Islamia, saying such a move would infringe on Muslims' rights and would be against the Constitution. He said there is "unrest" in the community over the issue.
