Actor Shia LaBeouf is taking part in his latest piece of performance art Friday by spending 24 hours in an elevator at Oxford University in England. He was expected to speak Friday evening at the Oxford Union debating society, and his time in the elevator marks the 24 hours on either side of his speech.

The Oxford Union is airing a live stream of the act, which it says functions as an “extended 24 hour talk.” LaBeouf is joined by his two art collaborators Nastja Rönkkö and Luke Turner in the elevator at EC English Oxford in Gloucester Green.
