The 2016 NFL draft is a little more than two months away.
We collected the first-round predictions from 13 draft experts and put together a consensus of all 31 (yes, 31 — sorry Patriots fans) picks in the first round. While the top 10 picks are already starting to look pretty clear, after that a ton is still up in the air.
The experts: ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay; WalterFootball's Charlie Campbell and Walter Cherepinsky; Rotoworld's Josh Norris; NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah, Chad Reuter, Lance Zierlein, and Bucky Brooks; Fox's Peter Schrager; CBS Sports' Dane Brugler and Rob Rang; and SB Nation's Dan Kadar.
Here are the picks:
No. 1 Tennessee Titans — Laremy Tunsil (OT)
Rogelio V. Solis/APExperts: 11 of 13
School: Ole Miss
Other possibilities: Jalen Ramsey (CB, Florida St.); Joey Bosa (DE, Ohio St.)
Key expert quote: Mel Kiper Jr: "The Titans have no choice but to improve their offensive line and do whatever they can to make sure Marcus Mariota is on the field for more than the 12 games he played as a rookie."
No. 2 Cleveland Browns — Carson Wentz (QB)
Charlie Neibergall/APExperts: 7 of 13
School: North Dakota St.
Other possibilities: Jared Goff (QB, Cal); Joey Bosa (DE, Ohio St.)
Key expert quote: Todd McShay: "Now that I'm deep into Wentz's tape, I feel very comfortable saying he's a legit first-round talent. He has the height, sturdy frame, natural accuracy, pocket mobility, and on-field leadership you look for in a QB."
No. 3 San Diego Chargers — DeForest Buckner (DE) or Jalen Ramsey (DB)
Ronald Martinez/Getty/Streeter Lecka/GettyExperts: 4 of 13 each
School: Oregon (Buckner); Florida St. (Ramsey)
Other possibilities: Joey Bosa (DE, Ohio St.); Ronnie Stanley (OT, Notre Dame); Laremy Tunsil (OT, Ole Miss)
Key expert quote: Rob Rang: "San Diego could see Ramsey as an ideal replacement. An Olympic-caliber athlete with instincts, size and physicality, Ramsey has starred all over the secondary and even at linebacker for the Seminoles, projecting best as a safety in the NFL."
