Bill Cosby Sues Accuser for Breaking a "Confidentiality Agreement" by Talking to Police
According to the Associated Press, Cosby has filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against Constand for breaking a confidentiality agreement they negotiated as part of a civil suit Constand filed in 2005, after authorities elected not to prosecute Cosby for allegedly sexually assaulting her.
"Despite being under no legal obligation to discuss any aspects of the events and allegations ... and despite being expressly prohibited from disclosing such information to anyone, Andrea Constand volunteered to participate and disclosed such information to the district attorney and others," Cosby's lawyers wrote.
