Smriti Irani calls for 'any time anywhere PhD' for women

Union human resource development minister Smriti Irani has appealed to the University Grants Commission to allow 'any time, anywhere PhD facility for women' after going through a higher education survey report showing the ratio of women faculty was much less when compared to men across the country.
